This page covers Pi Local Mail, a personal helper on Sui Qian’s Mac. It is not a public product. Only the site owner uses it.
What the helper does
The helper reads Gmail through Google OAuth so a local coding agent can summarise project-related mail. The requested Google scopes are Gmail modify and basic Gmail settings.
How Google user data is used
- Mail is read on this Mac only.
- Short deterministic summaries may be stored in local files under the owner’s home directory.
- OAuth tokens stay in macOS Keychain. They are not committed to git.
- The local CLI blocks send, forward, delete, trash, and spam actions.
- Google user data is not sold and is not shared with other companies.
